First ever Souled Out event in Inverness...

One of the city's best venues, The Ironworks, is booked and all the plans are in place for what's sure to be a special evening of worship and celebration!

This event has been organised in close partnership with a wonderful local team who have a fantastic vision to see God do a powerful new work in Inverness and the Highlands bringing renewd unity and encouragement to His Church.

Speaker: Jean Larroux

Jean is coming to us all the way from Mississippi in the US.  He has a remarkable testimony, leaving a relatively comfortable life to return to his home town following the devastation of Hurricane Katrina.  He and some others went about establishing a church - a community of believers who were determined to help bring restoration to that area, in Jesus' name.

And the work continues.  Here is an excerpt from the website of Jean's Church:

The engine of LPC (Lagniappe Presbyterian Church) has two cylinders: declaration and demonstration. We are committed to teaching the truth and accompanying that declaration with the unassailable apologetic of life. We seek to live the Gospel in such a profound way that the theology of the Gospel makes sense because it has been seen in our lives! Everything that is done will filter through this mission: if it embodies BOTH declaration AND demonstration then and only then can that program, idea, ministry or outreach be considered!

The Souled Out Band will be leading worship.
