Dominic Smart - 27 September 2009

On this final evening of ENCOUNTER09, Dominic Smart - speaking from Romans 6:1-14 asks the question:  How will we live in light of the radical grace of God which put to death our sinful nature and gave us new life in Christ?

In a challenging message, Dominic reminds us that while it costs nothing to become a Christian, it will cost us everything to live as a Christian.

In this message, Tony - in his extremely engaging way - speaks on the difference a relationship with Jesus makes to both us as individuals, and also to the world, as the Church seeks to make a difference in the lives of those who are broken and helpless.

Eddie Lyle - 6 March 2009

During the weekend, 6-8 March, young people from over 50 countries joined together in prayer, calling out to God on behalf of the persecuted Church.

This 'Shockwave' weekend is just one of the many things that Open Doors has facilitated for the worldwide Church as they continually seek to find new ways of bringing the situations of our persecuted Christian family before us.  Souled Out and Imagine Scotland were delighted to partner together with Open Doors for this special Shockwave event.

We spent much time in prayer and worship.  And as part of the evening, Eddie Lyle, CEO of Open Doors UK, brought a challenging message to us.  Using different video clips and slides (which are incorporated into the video), he asked the question: are we truly convinced that Jesus is who he says he is, and - if so - how will that impact the way we live?

J.John - 10 February 2009

J.John is regarded as one of the world's most creative and engaging Christian speakers.

In this first event of 2009 he asked the question, 'Who is in the driving seat of your life?'

There is lots of laughs but also many moments of profound challenge, as J.John's much-loved art of storytelling helps us discover fresh spiritual meaning in a way that makes sense of everyday life.
